Core Audience



We conducted some research about who our core target audience will be based on who our artist would appeal to. As our song is by Lily Allen, and our artist's style is similar to M.I.A and Jessie J, we looked at the Facebook pages for these artists to see what their fans look like, what age they are, where they're from and what their hobbies are. From this, we made a profile for our average audience member.

Role models: M.I.A, Jessie J
Why this genre/artist? Catchy music, can dance/sing to it, everyone likes it. Can relate to her; she’s from London and dresses similar, aspire to be her.

So our core target audience is 18-16 year old working class females who dress like 'hipsters', like to follow fashion trends, listen to pop music, like to have the most popular gadgets and brands, and enjoy partying and having fun.
